POW-MIA Day

On the third Friday and weekend of September, the United States of America honors POW-MIA Day in recognition of US And American Veterans who were held as prisoners of war in all American Wars. Especially those who never returned from war.

This blogger proudly honors POW-MIA Day...and would extend that respect not just to US and American servicemen who were prisoners of war; but to ALL soldiers in every human war who ever fought for the honorable defense of their country, of their homes, their family, and their native lands. For those who gave their all and never returned and those who forever mourned their loss.

Many Came Home...Some Did Not. You Will Never Be Forgotten!

Night Sky Photography -- 09-13-2015 -- Venus In Early Morning Sky

I woke up a bit earlier than I usually do on a Sunday morning and managed to get a really awesome shot between the trees of the planet Venus in the eastern sky about 40 minutes before sunrise.

Happy Patriot Day -- In Memory Of September 11th

In Honored Memory Of Those Americans Brutally Murdered And Those Who Fought Back Again Radical Islamic Terrorism On September 11, 2001.

This nation have will ever forget, nor forsake the sacrifices of the victims of the terrorist attacks on New York City and Washington D.C.

We will never forget the selfless acts of heroism and sacrifices of the first responders who risked their lives to safeguard and preserve the lives of fellow Americans.

We will never forget the memories of those brave Americans on Flight 93 who were the first to strike back against the invaders of our land and the evil they represented.

For their memories, and the memories of those who fought to defend the United States of America from further acts of radical Islamic terrorism, this blogger honors their everlasting memory on this day.

God Bless The United States Of America!

Night Sky Photography -- 09-01-2015 -- Mars & Venus

I got up early in the morning about an hour before sunrise to take these two outstanding shots of the planets Mars and Venus in the eastern sky. Both of them turned out pretty well I believe.
Look toward the east before sunrise over the next few days to catch these two "wandering stars" appear over the horizon outracing the sun.
