On this day, January 27 -- the anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau by Death Camp by Soviet troops in 1945 -- we recognize International Holocaust Remembrance Day in honor of the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and millions of
other victims of Nazism.
