On Saturday, April 5th of this year, my travels once again took me upstate to Greenville, South Carolina to once again visit the Greenville Convention Center and attend SC Comicon 2025.
This upstate gathering of fandom from across many genres (science fiction, comics, anime, furries, and classic animation) is attended yearly by nearly 20,000 people, or more!
I had actually debated if I should actually attend this year, but when I heard that one name in particular was going to be signing autographs, there was no way I was going to miss this opportunity to add this person to my growing collection of celebrity signatures.
Also, I wanted to take photos for this blog to share what I experienced with y'all, particularly some amazing cosplayers.

The following are the photo taken by yours truly at SC Comicon 2025:
The highlight of my visit to SC Comicon 2025 was meeting legendary voice actress Tara Strong. |
Well, I went to SC Comicon 2025 and all I got (other than those autographs) was this awesome t-shirt. |
Tara Strong's autograph featuring all the outstanding animated characters she's voiced over her outstanding voice acting career. |
Another outstanding voice actor I added to my autograph collection was Michelle Ruff, who is the English dub voice actress for several outstanding anime series, including the original English voice actor for Luna in Sailor Moon. |
I also managed to collect the autograph of actress Vicki Lawrence, who played Thelma Harper in the TV series Mama's Family (1983-1990) -- another favorite of mine growing up here in the South. |
That was my trip to SC Comicon 2025, y'all.
Overall I had a wonderful time and met several amazing cosplayers and celebrities -- especially Tara Strong, one of my top five all-time favorite voice actors, as well as Vicki Lawrence and the talented Michelle Ruff. It was an absolute pleasure for me to meet people who voiced and played characters that I've enjoyed since childhood.
My thanks to all the wonderful fans in attendance and to those outstanding cosplayers and fursuiters. All of y'all are wonderful and I'm proud to celebrate our shared fandom with y'all at events like these.
Till next time, have a wonderful Dixie Day Y'all!
