Normally the Mourning Doves (Zenaida macroura) that visit my backyard feeder are usually beautiful, but really greedy little creatures that drive away the other smaller birds in order to get the choice seeds.
This beautiful couple though appear to be quite friendly and willing to share with the small Carolina Chicadees (Poecile carolinensis) that are always hanging around, as well as the occasional Northern Cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis).
