Attending The Battle Of Aiken Reenactment 2018 -- Part Three

Union General Judson Kilpatrick's Yankee Cavalry burning
homes on their way toward Aiken as depicted by living history
re-enactors.

Hello friends and fellow travelers!

This is part three of my three-part photojournal blog post on my visit to the Battle of Aiken Reenactment 2018. This post details the final battle of the afternoon which portrays a victory by the good guys....uh, I mean the Confederate defenders of Aiken.

The following are the photos I took of the event.

One of Sherman's "bummers" stealing gold teeth from
the corpse of a dead comrade.

Well folks, that concludes my visit to the annual Battle of Aiken reenactment for 2018. My thanks to everyone who made it a great success -- particularly all the living history re-enactors themselves, the sutlers, entertainment and food vendors.

I hope that y'all enjoyed my photos of this event, and as always have a wonderful Dixie day and y'all come back now, ya hear?
