Summertime Birds (Part Two)

 

This is part two of my photo series about the beautiful North American birds that visited my backyard feeders over the course of the summer of 2026.

These include a wide variety of diverse and beautiful feathered beauties such as: Mourning Doves (Zenaida macroura), Brown-headed Cowbirds (Molothrus ater), House Finches (Haemorhous mexicanus), Northern Mockingbirds (Mimus polyglottos), Tufted Titmouse (Baeolophus bicolor), Carolina chickadees (Poecile carolinensis), Carolina Wrens (Thryothorus ludovicianus), Chipping Sparrows (Spizella passerina), and Northern Cardinals (Cardinalis cardinalis).

The following photos were taken between the end of June till the first of September 2026 by your favorite blogger.

This is my last official post for the summer of 2026 as we make way for the fall equinox here in North America. As we move into the autumn months here in my little corner of South Carolina expect to see more backyard bird photography, along with other really interesting posts coming up.
