Tonight the waxing gibbous moon
(Luna) joins up closely with the giant planet Jupiter, which is currently the brightest starlike object in the evening
sky next to the moon. The star below Luna and Jupiter is Spica, brightest light in the constellation Virgo the Maiden.
I mentioned in last month's post HERE that Jupiter and the star Virgo would continue to stay in proximity to each other in the evening sky for much of the year.
