On Saturday, December 5th, my travels again took me to Historic Brattonsville for their annual Christmas Candlelight Tours. These take place on the first and second Saturdays every year. This annual event draws close to 15,000 people every year.
Through educational living history reenactments, the volunteers at Historic Brattonsville show visitors how the Christmas holiday was traditionally celebrated by people in upstate South Carolina from the late 18th century and evolved over time to the mid-19th century and modern times.
The following are photos I took of the trip. I would like to thanks those volunteers and reenactors who again helped make this year's candlelight tours an overwhelming success
