I truly appreciate you adding it to the discussion.
As to what he said at the end....honestly I wonder what sort of planet we are leaving. I am of course optimistic, I have to be in these times. This country is experiencing a massive upheaval. Those seeking to destroy our monuments and label our flags racist are now facing the first real challenge in a very long time to their centers of power and influence.
I believe that the last election might be -- as one well-know political analyst called it -- the "Gettysburg of the Culture War". The more radical elements of the Left are literally losing their minds and lashing out at what they think are "safe targets" like out monuments because those of us who defend them are largely non-violent people (despite the fact many of us are legal carry holders).
I fear we may lose more of the monuments in major cities run by Leftists over the next few years at worst, but even they cannot eradicate all Confederate monuments in every small Southern and American town in less than 50 years, and long before then they will have bigger worries than trying to rewrite local history.

As for the future, I think you will like one of my next posts coming up. It shows that with all the negative stories, there are positives. Remember that the mainstream news media is NOT the country, but reflective of a single narrow political view. I wouldn't judge the trends in this country based on what they say alone. Always do your own research and keep an open mind.

Thank you once again for your review. ~ Carl
C.W. Did you read what ...Enjoyed your article here Carl. Did you read what past Commander Barrow wrote? "Obliterating history” to simply appease contemporary orthodoxy, is simply the wrong approach to understanding our unique heritage as Americans. Furthermore, demanding something (a flag, a statue, a signpost) be removed because "you're offended by it" demonstrates that you're not an adult governed by rational thought, but instead a child, ruled by emotions. We often ask ourselves what kind of planet are we leaving for our children, when perhaps we should be asking what kind of children are we leaving for our planet..." All great stuff, keep up the good work, my man! Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02753446902377527179noreply@blogger.com
