My Trip To HeroesCon 2017 In Charlotte, NC

Greetings and Salutations friends and fellow travelers!

On Saturday, June 17th, my travels once again took me north to Charlotte, North Carolina for the 2017 Heroes Convention at the Charlotte Convention Center

Heroes Con attracts tens of thousands of comic, movie, and animation fans from across the Carolinas to the Charlotte Convention Center every summer. This was my third visit in a row since 2015. My other two visits to Heroes Con can be seen in previous blog posts HERE and HERE

I-77 north took me right into Charlotte, North Carolina.
The high rises of the city can be seen in the distance.
Welcome to the Queen City, Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.

After braving Charlotte traffic (literally!) and finding a parking garage a block away from the convention center, I arrived a little after 11:30 AM just after the long lines into the building had finally disappeared and the people waiting in them -- many cosplaying in hot costumes -- had been waiting for as long as an hour. For once I made it inside to the convention itself in less than a few minutes.

The following are the photos that I took of the event, as well as some of the best cosplayers there that were among my favorites.
