SCV Lee-Jackson Banquet In Gaffney

On Saturday, January 9th, I had the honor of attending the annual Lee-Jackson Banquet hosted by the Moses Wood Camp #125 Sons of Confederate Veterans. The dinner took place in the dining hall at the Cherokee County History & Arts Museum

The guest speaker for the night was Miss Susan Hathaway from Richmond, Virginia, noted Southern heritage activist and member of the Virginia Flaggers.

Yours truly with the wonderful Miss Susan Hathaway.

It was a really good time with these wonderful folks in Gaffney, South Carolina. I truly enjoyed seeing Susan again and listening to her tell the story of how she came to take up the struggle against ignorance against Southern-Confederate cultural and historical heritage.

Looking forward to seeing her and many others in Lexington, Virginia next weekend for Lee-Jackson Day 2016.
